Privacy Policy

1. Who are we?

This privacy policy applies to all services of Vertikaal Bouwbedrijf, established in Hoorn, Noord-Holland, the Netherlands. Registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 97223603. For questions about this policy, please contact us at vertikaalbouwbedrijf@gmail.com.

2. What data do we process?

We only process personal data that you provide to us yourself, or that is necessary for the performance of our services. This concerns:

  • Contact details — name, email address and phone number, entered via our contact form or by email
  • Project information — location, scope and description of your project, for the assessment of your quote request
  • Invoicing and address details — if we enter into an agreement with you
  • Anonymised visitor data via Plausible Analytics (no cookies, no IP addresses, no personal profiles)

3. Legal bases and purposes

We process your personal data on the basis of the following GDPR legal bases:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — when completing the contact form
  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — if we carry out work for you
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for improving our services and basic security
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — for tax and administrative retention requirements

4. Retention periods

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Quote requests that do not lead to an assignment are deleted within 12 months. Administrative records are retained in accordance with the statutory Dutch tax retention period of 7 years.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not share your personal data with third parties, unless this is necessary for the performance of our assignment (for example with a subcontractor) or where we are legally required to do so. With parties that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a data processing agreement.

6. Hosting and infrastructure

Our website is hosted within the European Union. Contact form messages are sent via a transactional email service within the EU. Visitor statistics are collected via Plausible (EU-hosted, privacy-friendly, no cookies).

7. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

  • Access the data we process about you
  • Rectification of inaccurate data
  • Erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restriction of processing
  • Object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent previously given

To exercise these rights, please send a request to vertikaalbouwbedrijf@gmail.com. We respond within four weeks.

8. Filing a complaint

If you believe that we are not handling your personal data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
